stripping and repairing novak motors

i purchased a novak mongoose and three 80 8.5 setup about 6 months ago and during a race last sunday the yellow wire came out of the motor,

can the motor be stripped and is it an easy repair as i have contacted novak and not had a reply...

thanks for any help given,

i am ok with a soldering iron
