Grass tyres

I need some advice on grass tyres.

We only have one race meeting a year on grass at a local fair. The grass is well manicured as its on a part of a public park.

I have a set of Schumacher MiniSpike (Yellow with red Core inserts) as that seem to be the most common tyre used from the setup sheets that I have downloaded.

Question:
Holes in wheels or tyres and what size?
Are the inserts correct?
Do you recommend removing the outside row straight away?

Feal free to pass on any other info that may help me this weekend.

All depends on the set up of the car too. I normally use green mini spike with medium inserts on grass and iv'e never had to remove outside row yet. Hard to say as all surfaces differ. Get the car out early and see how it goes. If it is a flat short grass i would start off with quite a hard set up at first.
