Default Slim tyres -- wheels??

Is here a slim wheel for Kyosho?

Is there a way to run Schumacher slim wheels on the RB5?

Cutting down the regular wheel and trying to mount slims that way sucks.

Anyone know a regular width tyre that works on the RB5 well for carpet offroad?

Cutting the standard rims to suit narrow tires is prety easy!!!

If you want some front tires on carpet then we use Schumacer mini pins and depending on grip take some outer rows off.

Normally use full width tires for this.

yes I am going to try that.. I am picking up some minipins and rims from my LHS, and will try with racing this friday.

Stagger ribs on the cutdowns suck they mount soo poor and they get out of round because your rolling the tire under to fit it.

They are easy to cut.. just dont like them.

you don't run mini pins on narrow rims.

Fabs is correct about mini-pins.

I forgot to mention we use Yellow!!

I found that with Staggered ribs slim, Most use without Inserts.
It does not look pretty on the rim but it gets the expected grip.

I also use for some carpet with inserts it gets the profile better and makes the front a bit less edgy.

Its really a matter of trying to find what gives best result on your carpet, Not 2 are the same.

the new cut staggers solves this issue anyway, they mount on the normal wide rims like any modern 2WD tyres should do. They are the same overall diameter than mini pins and don't have the silly double lip, so you'll have to run inserts in them.

Well I just bought mini pin slims.. and they sit nice on the cut down rim.

I am taking a row off inside.. and maybe two on the outside.

My staggers dont have an insert in them..

I am also going to a green spring in the rear to make sure the weight stays up front.
