Default What Transponder?

Just getting back into racing. I've found that now it is expected one to have one's own transponder, opposed to the club having them which is absolutely fine but what do you recommend AMB? And what sort of money are they.

Thank you.K

I run a MRT pt .

I believe demon power products still stock them , thats where i purchased mine.

Very neat , small and a decent price , 50 ish pounds .

The my laps ones are decent enough but are priced a little higher.

to be honest fela there all the same just find out what system the club your planning on going to will take personal transponders and what system it is as some dont work with others.

ive heard good and bad about mrt pt's but that only because of people are scared of clashing numbers but hardly happens and if it does you can change your number on those anyway.these go for £47 at extreme rc or £55 on ebay may drop on 1 second hand but will be around £40-45.

ambrc pt's are fine but people want over the odds for them second hand(ive just payed £50 for 1 on ebay)these normally go between £45-£55.

mylaps (harry) are the latest pt's out and there smaller then the amb 1 not sure against the mrt seem good they use them now at don valley now rather then transponders,iv e not seen 1 of these second hand yet around £70 new

at the end of the day its down to what you can get for your money the cheaper the better they all do the same thing
