Best bet is ebay as this car is very old, so would try vintage kyosho Turbo Optima as a starting point.

I wouldnt advise on using a powerful motor as im not sure the drive train can handle it.

Upgrades for Turbo optima are W-0101 GOLD motor Guard, W-0103 Gold Celebration Chassis, W-0102 Gold Side impact protector bars, W-0105 Belt drive conversion Set and various wheel/tyre combos W5021, FD2, OT-90 wheels and W-5058, W-5057, W-5032, W-5031, W-5077 Tyres.

If you search for "kyosho Optima" you will get more search results as most Optima parts are the same as Turbo Optima, main diff is turbo Optima Came with gold shocks W5001, W5002, underguard OT-71 and Universal shafts W-5061, the body and decals are unique to the car, all other parts are the same as any other optima.
Cheers

The biggest problem with running something like that is the rarity of the parts. If you break something, it would be very difficult and expensive to find the parts.
Personally, I wouldn't even sell it if I were you. (unless you were to sell it to me. I have a Turbo Optima at home it would look great sitting beside )
Hang onto it, and maybe get your self something more modern to race. I'd hate to see that Optima get beat up!
