Default futaba 3vc problem help!!!!!!!!!!!!

had my futaba 3vc a few months now with no problems got it second hand though, anyway ive taken my 11.1v lipo out and charged it today and connected it back to the tranny and nothing so ive checked the lipo which has failed but i dont have a battery to connect to the tranny so soldered some energizers together with a futaba plug on the end red to positive black to negative with 8 cells in sequence i no that 4 were charged and 4 had been used but still nothing.any1 had a similar thing happen to them?will i need to send it back to futaba if they can fix it that is?

You may have damaged the tx plug when disconnecting the lipo

thats what i thought but ive just checked the battery and 1 of my energizers was dead so no current to the transmitter sorted it now though thank god was in a right panic then.
