Default Threadlock

Hi Guys

I've just about ran out of threadlock and the bottles that old the sticker has come off it was loctite but don't know the number.

I have some Durango threadlock but thats waaaaay to strong

So what do you guys use ??

If your going for Loctite, then use 242 at Max. If it's just for general peace of mind, 222 is a light lock and will help against vibration looseness.

daft question coming........

If you use threadlock is it still easy to strip your car for cleaning?

Yes, if you use something that isn't too strong. I personally don't use it, but if you want peace of mind, then go for Loctite 222. Bondloc's numbering system is the same also.

This will be a light lock and is vibration proof...

Yeah loctite 222 is perfect for RC use.
