Default running brushless in wet conditions

I have just upgraded my Madrat to a brushless setup with a 7.5t speed passion sensored motor sitting at the the back. I got a plastic cover that clips over the motor with a small hole at the top for the sensor cable comes out.

Going to race on astro turf tomorrow which no doubt will be damp.

can I run it as it is or do i need to cover the 3 wires and sensor cable? Is there any danger of damaging the motor if water gets on it?

James

Blue tack is your best friend in wet conditions, put some round the sensor lead where it enters the moto, also the speedo and receiver is worth doing.
