Default HELP!!! hobbywing 35a

HI all, i have just got a second hand Hobbywing ezrun 35amp, i am not sure if this has got turbo timing, and secondly it does not seem to have a sensore wire, will this cause a problem connecting it to a sensored brushless motot 13.5 t.

I am an alright racer but do lack alot of Knowlage about this.

I was hopeing it would fit into my xray t3, but i think i have just wasted my money jumping in feet first without knowing about it.

Any comments or good advice please, thanks

Default hmm..

I have one of these - as far as I am aware its sensorless - I run it with a 9t ezrun sensorless.

It does not have "turbo timing" as for as i can suss out from the programming guide.

Hope thats of some help - think others may have more of a say on the whole sensored with sensorless issue.

You've pretty much summed it up.

eZruns are sensorless and have no "turbo" (it's technically impossible for a sensorless system to have any "boost" or "turbo" settings).

It will probably run your sensored racing motor but without the sensors, so may well feel a bit notchy on the throttle.

You are better off getting a sensored speedo for racing. Hobbwing's XERun is sensored, as are most racing speedos.
