Default Audi A5 Sport Quattro Detail!

I spent all day doing this gorgeous A5...

He's had it from new but has kept it in pretty good condition, the car really is lovely though - I've never really looked over one up close but it certainly ticks the right boxes for me although the boot's pretty small for a big motor!

Process was as follows:

Snow foamed with I4D Foam and a bit of AS Autowash mixed in
G101 used on all badges, grills, vents, fuel filler
Very Cherry used on Wheels *non-acid*
G101 used on wheel arches and scrubbed
Washed with 2BM with AB buckets & Grit guards with AS Autowash and a Meg's lambswool mitt.
Clayed with CYC Blue clay and AS Reglaze as lube
Sprayed with Megs last touch and dried using large blue towel (red piping)
Moved into the Garage for polishing, all taped up and used 3M Extra fine with a matching yellow pad on my 3M rotary machine. Fast Cut + was used in a couple of areas where there were some serious scratches but this was then refined using Extra fine.
There was a lot of dust after finally finishing the polish stage so i wheeled it outside and rinsed off to get rid of the dust.

After this it was then dried off again with some Last touch and another towel.

I then used Zaino Z6 Gloss enhancer as a wipedownn, then some Z8 to add a bit of a seal before waxing with Poorboys Natty's Blue paste wax which spread on very easily and smells awesome.

This was then left to haze so i dressed the Tyres with Meg's endurance gel and did the arches with some AS Smart-shine.

Last step was to clean the glass with some AS 20/20 Crystal clear and then buff off the wax.

Here are some of the pics anyway, thanks for reading!

Yeah i know what you mean, it is frustrating but to most people they'd only see it if they got extremely close and it still at least looks better but only wet-sanding would get rid of it, and i don't quite want to start that yet..... maybe one day!

I've seen a repainted red E30 M3 that was wet-sanded. I've never seen anything so glossy in my life - car looked wet all the time - gorgeous, but very labour intensive. I've a Delta Integrale that is going to need painting soon - tempted to pay the premium for wet-sanding..... but with plans to have cross members, roll bars etc powder coated - I could end up spending more on paint than the car is worth
