Default New Cougar shock mount

Has anyone tried this? What exactly is the benefit of more droop?

Secondly for the Cougar SV is this new shock mount. Something that the team drivers have been developing for some time, this new 4mm carbon fibre mount is drilled to sit 4mm lower than the standard version. This enables the front end to have more droop and less up travel, something the drivers have desired under a lot of conditions.

it would make it better over the bumps plus i guess the wheels would have more contact with the floor as the extra droop helps

that would also help to transfer more weight to the rear, which is dearly needed on loose tracks.
