Question Which One..

Hi guys,

with the BRCA starting in April and once again the tyes are the Schumacher Mini-Spike or Ballistic Buggy Mini-Spike, which one is the best? also what foam inserts are you guys planning on using? Do you trim them down or stuff them in?

Do you find the Schumacher Pre-Glue OK and fit for the job?

Mini spikes for dry and bb greens for wet. A lot of people are now using staggered ribs on the front if dry now aswell, but I'm not sure wether you can use them at brca regionals or nationals.

As far as I'm aware its only the driven wheels that have to have a control tyre, but I could be wrong. I know we used staggers on the front for regionals.

From BRCA entry form

Control Tyres: The 2011 National Championship permits only two types of tyre for the rear axle at each venue.
Compound and quantity used is not restricted. Front tyres are a free choice.
The permitted rear tyres at all venues in the 2011 BRCA Off-Road National Championship are :-
Schumacher Mini-Spike (Original & Mk.2) and Ballistic Buggy Mini-Spike.

Cool. So if it just rear then I can run staggers on 4wd too . It was tried last year and it worked well for super high grip tracks.
