Both are rear motor 2wds, better spending the money on either a mid-motor 2wd or a 4wd.

can you not class the losi as an upgrade to the xpro? or are they on the same level with build, easy of use, parts availability etc

Although im yet to drive an x-pro, I did have a XXX-cr for 8 months and really liked it (although it was a bit of a love-hate relationship at times!!). On paper, they are very similar in many ways. Both cars are made from composite plasics (x-pro is made from ABS and the XXX-cr is made from EA3), have alloy threaded shocks, slipper clutches etc. The XXX-cr is a much older car than the X-pro, although parts are just as easy to get hold of. A lot of people have done a CR2 mid motor conversion on their XXX-cr, although at £170 this isn't cheap, especially as the new Losi 22 kit is £190.

I'm not world wild champion but i think the X pro is more easy to drive, and it's easy to have the parts and options. There is some very good driver in Uk, US. Ansmann have take some driver in germany, and in france i try to have some friend drive the X pro with me and find some setup.
And if you have any question you have in Oople forum the good answer. (the most difficult for me it's in English!)
With the new losi the older car will be sell shipper and shipper.

Keep the xpro and buy the CR if its cheap... Try them back to back... Good thing with the CR is all the tuning options you have available to you on the car... The xpro has limited options... (camber link positions etc etc)
