menace 21

could anyone please help, my freind bought a menace 21 thats been stood awhile, i have managed to get it to run ok on stand, ( but wheels dont stop turning even on tickover) but soon as it is placed on the floor it stops, also if we try to start it on the floor the car is in drive and wants to go as we turn it over. any suggestions would be great.

Check your clutch

sounds to me like your clutch bearings have seezed or it could be that a clutch spring have gave up and caused it to stick to your clutch bell.
