hey all, ive been a ling time viewer but this is my first post. Its all been very informative so far but i have a few more questions.
(Actually I have been hanging around just looking for a couple of years now!) ![]() I just bought a new in box x10 ![]() ![]() ![]() I should also mention the guys I race with arent so serious about strict rules at the club. We all use 23turn motors and thats the only rule. (I live in Japan by the way) Anyway what I mean is im not concerned about the wheeltrack becoming a little wider or whatnot. Im looking forward to flying the British flag here in Japan with my pred and im hoping everyone here will help me kick copious amounts of Tamiya. Yokomo, and Kyosho arse ![]() Cheers....... |

1 short answer:
Don't do it, it will disturb the cars geometry and just mess everything up. buying bulk packs of wheels is cheaper ![]()

thanks for the swift reply but i honestly dont think its cheaper here in japan. There are currently next to no spares available in all the shops over here and im honestly sick of dish design wheels. I managed to jerry-rig dark impact wheels onto my durga and really want to do something similar on the pred. There is a japanese guy who has posted here and on the-pred about changing wheels and diffs and god knows what else, all just to cut down on cost. He goes to pretty extreme measures like combining 501X UJs with F1 drive shafts etc. I think he does this because he races in regional races were the exact measurements of the car are actually important. This is not the case for me so if anybody can point me in the right direction or give me an educated guess, then that would be great.
