I'm still buzzing off the event, amazing atmosphere, great people, hope Nicolas comes back to us next year, maybe on indoor dirt track, who knows? :-) You wouldn't believe how empty it felt in there the day after. Like a house after a party.

Windows 7 has really slowed my workflow down on the photos - still need to sort out a decent and fast photo browser. Will be online this weekend.

Good ole Windows 7

Get a Windows XP Virtual machine installed - if the machine has the grunt you shouldn't notice too much a performance hit

Ive started using visual light box lately and find it to be pretty good. Its also got a software package with FTP connected direct to your server for easy of uploading.

Have a look at : http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm (freeware for the viewer & the resizer)

ps. enjoyed the video's - shame they cannot be streamed by Rob or TT on the day, static cameras are ok until... nice to see all the track, bumps, muckup's etc.

Nice job, good videos!

BUT, what the hell is going on with Jörn in "2WD A-Final 3" ?! Hard driving!

Now I see why this jump was referred to as the Mad jump in the review, as there were no photos of the actual ramp they take off from...

...Though there were many photos that did suggest the steepness of the ramp!

The speed difference on that jump between 4WD and 2WD is pretty big, I really didn't expect that (I'm not much of a racer and there isn't a big 1/10th scale off-road scene where I live - so no track either). Nice to see the race AND reading the review, it makes me want to visit an event like this

Thanks for that - I've just been doing the 2WD gallery and it's really sped things up. I've tried a few similar programs but not found anything this good.

I'd not want to spend all my time manning a video camera unless it was some super quality result - vicky's done many A final videos that we normally use for write ups, I've only just got a computer capable of editing them (they're all in HD, apart from these petit ones - sold the camera!) So I'll populate the youtube channel more soon.

If I can find the time and money I'll consider doing live video streaming and results at some point.

Yeah sorry about that - I normally try to get photos of the track features and do a write up on the layout but I forgot this time. It's definitely a MAD jump tho.
