Default What is this?

just wondered if anyone could identify the speedo below, it is LRP and I need to know its motor limit so I can beef things up a bit

LRP quantum Competition (or competition 2). Either way, I think the official motor limit was 5 turn from memory.

Looks like a Quantum 3. No motor limit on those bad boys

LRP Quantum 1 comp, you can tell by the red around the mode and set and the lettering

so we think it has a low or no limit, thats a plus, just need a hot ass motor now
(yes I do have spare front wishbones)

Based on rebuilding a cobra I had for a short while, plus what others have said in previous topics.
The issue seems to be that as the idler doesn't have a seperate bar to run on, it's all moulded as one piece, which makes it the weakest point in the gearbox. As long as you don't run too hot a motor and the slipper works it should be ok (check the mardave site for the 'new' slipper if yours doesn't have one).
But it was more of a comment about how cheap they are!
