Default ZX-5 FS2: Suspension Arm Set - LA272

Anyone know who has these in stock right now?

or is there another part number which would also give me the standard FS2 rear arms?

cheers

The same rear arms are included in UM521, at a push you could use LA243 which although a different moulding is geometrically identical (you just need to trim a bit off the end for hub clearance).

Hope that helps.

It does ...... cheers m8 .........

just thinking........ I don't suppose the front in the UM521 will be any good to me?
and isn't the LA243 the original ZX5 rear arm - I have some of these and they are shorter, by a good few mm !

If you are still looking for some LA272 wishbones, we have them in stock on the shelf as per your original question

UM521 comes with an RB5 front arm (it's the RB5-SP wishbones)

LA243 is the "mid rear" conversion wishbone for the original ZX5, it's the same length and the inner 2 shock positions are the same ... I have measured and modeled every Kyosho wishbone for the RB5 and ZX5 range (plus a few others to compare with)

Re: la243 Arms
LA243 is the arms for the original ZX5 kit, one front arm and one rear arm. The LA243 front arm is for use with the old-style C-hub steering blocks, which put the outer hinge pin further outboard than the new SP/FS steering knuckles do.

LA255 are the stock SP/FS front/rear arms; the rear arm is the same as the original RB5 rear arm.

The SP/FS can use the longer rear arms in either the LA243 (original ZX5) or UM521 (RB5-SP) sets, but you'll probably have to get longer dogbones (LA232 dogbone only, or UM522 full RB5-SP rear driveshaft set with the new short axles) to compensate.

Thanks for the help/info above from all of you.
I've realised there is no rush so have gone to my normal online retailer.

Thanks
