Cougar tranny maintenance

Hi guys,
I've notice that we must put some grease on internal gears (brown grease) and external gears (white grease) for their longevity...
But how often do you re-lube them?

I do it every time i rebuild the diff. Which as its ace, isnt that often to be honest. Theres no need to go mad with it
