Hi all, stupid question time.....how do you reverse the steering servo on a futaba 3VC??
Built up my Cat and the steering goes the wrong way, don't have instructions for the tranny, and have spent ages looking online.

Here's a link to the 3VCS manual, I assume it's similar to the 3VC.

3VCS is a different screen, so the manual won't be much use. This radio - http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/3pjs-manual.pdf - has the same screen.

G-46's instructions were about right - press UP+DOWN together, then use UP (or DOWN) to reach the REV. xxxx menu item, and use + or - to reverse.

up and down together trick is for if you have it set as a fast link, its where you can have X-amount of setting in one screen.

I think you must be talking about the 3VCS because the 3VC doesn't have this feature.

Right....

Press the 2 middle silver buttons (ST.EXP & ATV) at the same time. Then scroll through the options using the ST.EXP or ATV button until you find "REV". It will either say NORM or REVE next to it and you can change by pressing the "custom" button (bottom right) and the "select button" (Bottom left to scroll between throttle and steering. As you scroll through the options REV is inbetween BT1 and TILT.

Although it looks the same as 3VCS my understanding is the options are very different . The 3pjs which is a wheel radio has the same options as the 3vc and is what i used to work everything out.

Here is a link to the manual http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/3pjs-manual.pdf

Hope it helps

Dave

Thanks Dave, that's very useful. Had been messing around with it for ages!

there are a hell of a lot of things on there that I didn't know about, I'll download the 3pj manual.
