Default 8th forums?

Just wondering if the 8th scale off road lads had an ace forum like oople?

I know there are some top 8th lads on here but wanted to see what else is out there!

Been on Max bashing, wondered if there were anymore worth looking at? I am looking for few 8th bits so a good forsake section would be handy

very good question, typically oOple has a 10th bias, I haven't found an 8th scale equivilant of oOple for UK racing.

I'm currently putting the finishing touches to an 8th buggy review and intend to do a bit of racing next year along with more 8th national reports since I enjoyed it.
It's true there's a massive 10th bias here but I'd like it to change so you're more than welcome to help

it would make sense to just increse the 8th section on here i reckon
we come on here anyway so no point in having to go anywhere else is there?
plus i reckon if there was somewhere else we would already be on there wouldn't we

What a shame that the 1/8th BRCA off-road section are so against the 1/10th off-road section. Clashing as many dates as they can!!!
It will end up this section only having one round in 2012 to deside the British champion as everyone will rebell and vote for one 2 day National.

As it stands we are going to lose the best drivers to represent us for the WC EP in Finland and the best drivers for the WC GP in Brazil 2012. Sponsors and distributors are not going to cope with extra cost of supporting 2 drivers for each class. Drivers like Bloomfield, Cragg and Martin are going to have to make the choice this year what they do!!!
Also noticed they have realeased the dates but not where they are? Is this another one of their schemes to find out where the EP Nationals clash and then put their Nationals on miles away so people can't just do the 2WD and then go to the 1/8th National the next day? Also it's all very well saying to people if you don't go to the AGM you can't get what you want, because you can't vote on the dates, that's the thing causing the problem. The dates they have advised for cancelled meetings don't clash with anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just food for thought,

Thanks for the input guys, since posting this I have had a search around to see what's about and Jimmy and co your right there is nothing out there like oople for the Uk 8th scene. We are just to lucky and spoilt in 10th to have a awesome forum like this!

I am sure oOple is responsible for the 10th scene growing in the Uk so well done! Pat on the back to Jimmy and the oople crew! I am sure with some more 8th stuff on here this will help their section grow too.

Jimmy if we could enlarge the 8th section that would be great as there are lots of drivers who do both and there is some great 8th guys that post on here, Doughty, Lee Martin, Show time, Jon Dell etc etc

Have fun doing 8th Jimmy, look forward to how you find it and look forward to the review of your car, is it Durnago or Jq?

I had a flick through neo, pirate, rctech but they don't come close on layout or content, oOple rules!

There are 8th forums, and most 8th nat drivers seem to be on them,Maxbashing is one that springs to mind, but they are a far more quiet bunch for some reason.

Oh I see, I'll keep an eye on Max Bashing as that seems to be fairly busy but nothing like Oople

Maybe the 8th boys dont like talking crap about the toy cars we love, oh well!

Planning on doing some 8th too next season so to have a larger 8th section on here would be ace Jimmy.

Need to learn as much as I can before I throw a lethal weapon around a track like a nutter!!

speaking as a mainly 8th guy, i would love too see more 8th discussion on here, i have too admit this is my favourite forum by far. and would love too contribute if i could, just not sure what you'd need.
believe me us 8th guys like too talk our beloved buggys as much as the 10th guys, but i just think it seems more 10th scale biased here, thats not a bad thing just the way it seems have worked out. so if there any others out there who feel the same then i would be only too happy too lend a hand if i could. i race every weekend all over the place so i can definately give race reports. and a bit of technical stuff. so if you need a race reporter then let me know most of the guys who run tracks know me, so it shouldn't be a problem. anyways you 8th guys come on and start posting, there are all the options there too do so.

Come on Jimmy, pop a few sub forums in the 8th nitro section, maybe one for engines and a few manufacturers too

I may be wrong, but with the 1/8th section being as small as it is, splitting it out into manufacturers would tend to lead to people just reading about their chassis making the sections seem even less populated? A lot of advice for one is good for another?

Just my 2p's worth.....

Im all for a bigger 1/8th section. I love Maxbashing and regularly contribute, there are some really knowledgeable and helpful people on there, sadly, an awful lot of the threads descend into chaos and lead away from the original post.

This track is going to be brilliant in the months to come, the guys have done so well to cater for all scales of racing big thumbs up from me & it's on my door step so 15mins drive I'm there lol.
It's probably one of the easiest tracks to get to than most other ones i have been to over the years too
