Default Lipo Charging

Hi, i'm currently switching over to lipo batteries in my cars. I have an Etronix Powerpal charger (http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=33896) which has a max charge rate of 5A. If i purchase lipo's with a rating more than 5000mah will the charger be able to fully charge these larger capacity batteries?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Lee

Hi,you will still be able to charge fully, but not as quick
lipos are charged at a c rating eg:1c=1 amp per 1000 mah so 5000 mah would be up to 5 amps, newer lipos are able to charge higher c ratings, personally i think it would shorten there life,5 amps should be plenty HTH
