Default would you be interested??

orite guys, for a school business/technology project, i have to make a product, package it and sell it. for this i thought about using the schools technology resources to make about 20-30 buggy wings. i was just wondering that when they are made would anyone be interested in buying some, they will be a damn site cheaper than jconcepts ones, but wont be crappy, ill made nor will they be shite and out of proportion. they arem ade of the same plastic (lexan) and are clear so you can paint them up for your self, they are also very similar in shape to the B4 interceptor wing. i have spent a long time on this project moulding and buying materials, making plans etc. i am now onto packaging. they should be finished by around 2 weeks from now.

im looking to sell them at around £3, or 3 for £10. if you are interested or want to know anymore then jus pm or email me. or leave a comment here. i can also (once finished) post them for another 75p each. or i can bring some to a race meet at batley if needs be.

thanks alot guys

Alex

Hey Alex,
Good idea on the project, its also a consumable item with a life of on average half a dozen race meetings (I estimate)- so could make a few quid

I'll use one, I will probably see you at the next Batley meeting which will be indoors now, it may even be the indoor regional on the nd of Dec.

BTW, you missed two great club meetings outdoors at Batley recently, the weather has been better than its been all summer!!

great to hear that mate, thanks. and about not coming to batley. i aint had enough money lately to come as it costs me around £20 a time jus to turn up and race coz i always brake stuff. but i am definatly up for coming to the indoor races. stripped ma b4 down recently and cleaned it all. so yeah. anyway thnks for the support. hopefully i will have enough money after selling these to race regularly . thanks

a hell of a lot of people use the bigger wing now so you would probably get more people interested if you made them like the losi auroa wing

at under 50mph i really dont think a couple of cm's more will make much difference, anyway the mould is made now, i cant make it any bigger sorry. but these are standard size. around 16cm

Actually, at this scale, a couple of cms do precisely that, make a difference. I find the big wings are an advantage everywhere except on high grip carpet, my big wing is 18cm and I preffer it almost everywhere to the 16cm wing

160mm IS about the same size as your big wing, it works out at 6inch and 1/4 ish.. We normally use 6 inch or 7 inch wings. B4 standard wings are 136mm

Get some pictures up when theyre made and i may be interested.
