Default Does It Matter To Reverse Throttle Control On Handset

Just put 13.5 brushless in my Mardave V12 and it runs backwards. I usually reverse the control on my Sanwa Gemini 2, but wondered if it makes a difference? If it does I could just mount it on the other side.

Your opinions please.

You should set the speed control up first.

If it refuses to set up in the normal position (some do), try to set it up with the throttle reversed.

If you,ve wired it up as per instructions just mount the motor on the other side of the motor mount.

Wire as instructions (A to A, B to B, C to C), set Ch2 on the transmitter to normal, do the first-time-setup on the ESC again. Then if it runs backwards, mount the motor to the other side of the pod.

Some transmitters have a 70/30 split on the throttle travel, so if the ESC has been setup for 70% forwards, swapping the stick direction will change that 30% forwards.
