Default Postal Scam

I've just been sent the following information on this scam. Just
thought I'd make you aware...
Can you circulate this around especially as Xmas is fast approaching -
it has been confirmed by Royal Mail. The Trading Standards Office are
making people aware of the following scam: Its an old one but some people still fall for it.
A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel
Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel
and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a Premium rate
number).
DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from
Belize.
If you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you
will already have been billed £315 for the phone call.

If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal
Mail Fraud on 020 7239 6655.
For more information, see the Crime Stoppers website:

It's a load of rubbish. This does the rounds every year with the amount being charged for making the call increasing. Do a quick google, the most you can possibly be charged is something like £1.50 a minute from BT. It's just a hoax

£2 is the max from a call. Used to be genuine this one until about 5 years ago.

Friend warned me re the Hallmark email last week, not had one, but UPS must have a shed load of stuff they cannot deliver and HSBC seems to misplace my banking details to often for a bank I don't use ?

Yesterday we strayed onto a web page that looked like a virus checker was running - found 41 before we closed the page.
