Hi all,
I think i already know the answer to this but as i'm as tight as a ducks *** and hate to throw stuff out, i'll ask anyway! I have a 2S lipo stick pack that has given up the ghost. I'm guessing that 1 cell has gone down (voltage is about 3.7 volts). Is there any way that i can salvage and use the good remaining cell? Or do i just need to dispose of it as per recommendations? AT YOUR OWN RISK you can try charging it on a NiMH mode BRIEFLY at a LOW RATE (eg 0.1C) to force the voltage of the dropped cell up. Chances are the pack won't be much good afterwards because the voltage dropping is permanent damage.
