Anybody race one of these? Any info on any weak points, essential hop ups?
Running on 3 cell 3000kv motor and seems quick enough. Will it take four cell?
Any help welcome, theres not a lot of info about. Thanks

4cell with that motor would be over kill on speed assuming the esc could even handle it.

Can i increase duration by using two 3 cell packs wired differently?
I am intending to race it.

Yes, run in serial it would double the MAH rating in parallel it would double the voltage (dont do that, if your ESC is not rated for 6 cell it will burn it up and with even if it could that much voltage on a 3000kv motor will have your car doing back flips on the starting line, hehe). Check with your local hobby shop for the plugs, you could make them too.

uhhm, serial doubles the volts and paralal the amps thus runtime!

reckon you be ok on 4 cell but watch out trying 6 it will probly fry it .get lrp or mamba/flux for 6 cell insanity power.
whats this car like any way .is it ok
is it copied of any more established 8ths

I think the standard esc can only handle 3s. I wouldnt try 4s.

if you want to run 4s you will need a hpi flux or a mamba tekin rx8

The car seems ok, but only run it for a couple of minutes before the servo horn broke.
Dont know what its a copy of. Anyone?
Has good speed on 3 cell!
