Default Personal Transponders in 1/10th off road

I have come back to 1/10th from 1/8th rallycross and have sort of got used to not thinking about transponders due to all rallycross running off PTs.

I was wondering today how, if at all, personal transponders are dealt with in 1/10th as I quite like the idea of running one if possible.

i run a PT. its brilliant, no worrying about forgetting to pick up the hand outs. the only bad thing about them is if, this has never happened to me, the PT stops working or there is a problem with it, the club cant do anything about it as it is your trasnponder, although yiu can use a handout next round.

How is the popularity of PT in tenth though? I remember about this time just last year (coming upto the Neo06) Jimmy was saying a majority use hand-out in tenth.

As Roger says everyone uses PT in rallycross really.

It's defo increased, they are just so handy and make everything so much easier. Only once have I ever lost a lap, as I dumped across the line (2 years ago at york outdoor regional where the track was HUGE). Normally the signal strength of a PT is higher than a handout according to the system at Batley.
