Default 502x lipo position?

Ok then. I've got mine built today and all well really well. Lovely kit. Are you guys running forward or rearward with your lipos? Also, are any of you adding weight to your car and if so where and roughly how much? Thanks. Just need to fit radio and it gets it maiden voyage at Worksop on Sunday all being well. Will take 511 as back up. Lol Cheers guys.

I had a thread going somewhere and everybody suggested running lipo forward. I ran mine at its debut race with lipo's back, and Belsten ran his forward, and besides the obvious that hes a better driver, his car did look a LOT more planted.

As for weight, i dont think its necessary for indoors at all, the car is very well balanced in the air out of the box.

Show us some pics of your 502 then, i want to see how every1 else has crammed their electrics in.lol

Thanks matey. As for pics, its not wired up yet. Tomorrows project. Looks reasonably roomy tho. Anything is after 2 Durangos. They were snug. Its sat on its wheels with my 201 shocks fitted for speed of build. Front castor blocks seem a tad tight when turning the steering? They may run in I spose or I'll ease them out a tad. I hope it drives as well as it went together.

I had problems with my castor blocks too. I ended up sticking a piece of 3mm piano wire through both holes and warming it up under the cooker. I found whilst pushing the rod through, that the 2 holes weren't aligned properly. Im guessing they warp slightly after coming out of the mould.

After the mod, mine now turn nice and freely.

Run them forward to reduce the pendulum effect.
