i am looking at racing at my local wakefield club(nitro)and was looking at a hpi trophy,hobao or a hong nor?or does anybody suggest any other models....and do u need any licences to race at club level?

Easiest way is to go to that club and have a look there. That way you know what cars there running and if your starting I suggest you get a car that is common at Wakefield. That way there is a lot of knowledge about setup (and parts ) for that car.
