Exclamation 201 Thumbscrews

Does anyone make any metal ones for the 201?

The plastic ones that come with it are

Hi there
I'm using alloy thumb screws from a Assocated B44.
They look & work superb.

would the Associated ones go in still?

I would not think so as the B44 is imperial and the 201 is metric

One option could be the thumb screws off the HPI Blitz as that car is metric but they are Grey alloy not nice tamiya blue!

Or just use B44 and screw the imp screws into chassis

Yes i know the imperial B4 screws wont fit onto the 201 metric thread.

What im asking is now that ive already made the thread into the chassis with the Tamiya if i was to buy the B4 ones would they retap or be too small?

Default Thumb screws

All I did was take out the Tamiya grub screws & replace them with the Associated ones, just re- tapped them, in other words.
Worked fine.

I know lee had some amazing star shaped ones on his car for the euros, from rudebits.
Not sure if they are going to be available to buy, i'll ask for you
