Arrow S2 Question LHD/RHD

Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting an S2 conversion kit with a xxx-cr donor car..quick question...I understand that there are 2 configurations LHD & RHD, i also understand that one of the configurations requires a motor that can utilise reverse rotation...question is whats the pros and cons of each config please? LHD or RHD for a S2 new comer?

Thank you in advance for any kind information...

Can't wait to join the ranks of Atomic owners soon (the new red carbon looks amazing!!)

cheers guys

I think you mean the CR2

Go for the LHD one with the added idler gear on the motor plate.

It is a choice between a 3 (RHD) and 4 (LHD with extra idler) gear system. The 4 gear option has more traction and I don't find the open idler to be a big problem at all. And besides, the LHD is cheaper and almost everyone runs it

V-Rossi, you were right about choosing the one with the extra idler though
LHD (Left Hand Drive, viewed with the front of the car away from you) is the one with the extra idler mate

ahum, looks like I got it all wrong, got confused

first lhd had no extra idler I guess, that's why they mentioned that the esc had to be capable of reverse ?

-> you , from Fluffy Bum, you know such things, I mean, those are things you know

That is the Team Fluffy Bum motto

At first the LHD had no extra idler, then Otto mounted one where the upper motor screw slot is for the Euros. After that the modified Losi plates and Atomic Carbon plate came.
