Default Rtr buggy/truggy for child.

Hi guys I'm wanting to get my son a half decent buggy or truggy, he's only three but don't want to get a cheap hard plastic thing from toys'r'us. I've got a carrisma m14 that he plays with from time to time but he always wants my b4. Don't want to spend a fortune just something that won't break after 10 mins or runs on AAA's. Something that can take lipos would be a bonus then he could use mine. Cheers.

As the man above says traxxas are spot on for your boy

A slash may be a good choice

Very very tough mine never really broke even with 11.1volts in it (vxl version)

And they are a truck which young lads tend to like and of course they have the 50% option on the speedo to slow it down a bit whilst he gets used to it

my 4 year old nephew drives my blitz about the place, I cant break it running it fast so he definitely cant do any harm to it driving it at a slow speed! I just knock the end point down on the radio

Id get a cheap b4 second hand. You know the buggy, they are strong, and you will already have spares. Your lad will feel better for running the same as you too.

Cheers guys think I'll take him to modelsport at weekend and see if he likes the rustler vxl, I think as long as he can go over the jumps he'll be happy. Are spares easy to get hold of for the rustler?
Cheers.
