Default ANSMANN MAD RAT HELP!!!!

I have just bought an ansmann mad rat. I need help in where to look for parts and what parts are best to get to upgrade it or even make it better.
So far i have bought
The carbon fibre shock towers
The carbon fibre battery holder
The carbon fibre chassy holder
Some blue clips
Some red medium springs
a Big battery 4500

but what else
and how can i make it faster
Also if i turned it into a brushless motor what else would i need to change and what would it cost

thanks and write back

1 - upgrade bearings (essential)
2 - carbon fibre t-piece
3 - rear aluminium hubs (you dont really need the fronts)
4 - Front AND rear Aluminium wishbone mounts
5 - Bfast diff kit

The carbon battery holder isnt really necessary, its just decorative imho

If you want to go brushless go up to 6.5T max (just tried a 5.5T, too much for the car to handle)

Oh sorry, try www.tcmodels.net and the turnbuckles are worth it too.

Are you club racing, or just park bashing?

If you are racing, then go for alloy shocks, such as Losi or associated B4. Add a larger rear wing ( I have a lazer ZX-5 rear and added the hobbypro front wing) If you go for a faster brushless you definately need the aluminium motor mount as you WILL strip the cheapo green mount.

You need also the optional motor plate, and, of course, good shocks, like the big bore ones on tcmodels.

The T piece in either carbon/steel/ is a worthwhile upgrade as on all the cars i have ever seen that's the only thing iv seen break regularly.

I have a spare brand Steel new one if anyone is interested.
