Hi Guys,
I recently got into R/C buggys ( bought my first one yesterday). I got a RTR kit. Its alot of fun but I had a little accident and the left wheel ball joint thing popped off. Its all ok and I fixed if back on but now the left wheel leans outward at top whereas the other front wheel leans in (hope that made sense). There is a tips/adjustment section in my manual about setting camber up but it only tell me what it recommends and not how to adjust it. I didnt want to completely mess it up so thought I would ask on here how to do it. If anyone can help would be great. Really hoping to race eventually but im a long way off as cant control it very well at moment lol |

A photo would help.
It sounds like you may have pulled the plastic ball cup away from the turnbuckle (the metal rod that connects the two balls) You may be able to pop the balljoint back off and screw it back on, or you may need to replace the plastic part. To adjust the angle of the wheel (camber) you just rotate the turnbuckle. As one end is a left handed thread turning it one way will make it longer, the other shorter. You can get a guage to accurately measure the angle and a spanner to turn it with from a model shop.

You should of got a camber gauge and plastic spanner to fit the turnbuckles in with the buggy I've got the same kit and got them with mine.

Hi guys,
Tried to get a pic but cant seem to get it to show. The ball cap did come off but i just clipped that back on. I will try look through the kit and see if I can adjust the turnbuckle. Do i adjust the one at the front or back? |
