Default Newbie seeking advice

Hi all,

I have posted a couple of times recently, and i am wanting to start racing 4wd at batley.
I have been into r/c for some years but only for fun, so in terms of real driving experience i am a total novice.
I have been looking at cars, and associated gear and have had offered the package below at a very reasonable price:

schumacher cat sx2 with spares
ko propo ex5
lrp spx speedo with 7.5t brushless
2x 5000mah lipo packs

would this be a good base for starting racing?

would the car be right for a beginner?

am i too old to start racing r/c at 29?

do you have a novice or wobbler category at batley?

thanks in anticipation of the answers guys.

Thanks

Steve

Yellow mini pins are what you want for our indoor venue, Yellow mini spikes for outdoors

Hey, i was thinking of popping along to this club and I am a newbie too, bought my first buggy last saturday (B4.1 RTR). Im really bad at controlling it at the moment lol but hopefully will get better.

Im sure i will see you there at some point I cant make this week since got plans but hopefully I can visit batley soon.

P.S do all buggy type tyres fit all. I.e if i buy some of those mini pins things will they go on my B4.1? Just thinking I met get more control if i put some of those tyres on?

If you running the car on grass schmacher minispikes yellows in the dry greens in the wet or ballistic greens in the wet

Indoors you will need schumacher minipins yellow compound

These will all fit the b4
