Default Which Futaba Digital Servo for my B4.1

This may sound like a stupid question, but !

I've just bought a B4.1 and need to know which Futaba Digital Servo to fit!

Looked in the kit manual and it says either the S9250 or S9450 but these are both Heli Servo's and work at 4.8v !

Thanks for help
Dez

If you choose a Savox, you use the Futaba servo horn.

I wouldn't go for the S9250 its generally used for gyros and has fairly low specs compared to the Savox or Spektrum range of servos.

The S9450 is a better servo for off road but again you can get better spec's for less money. Like the Savox 1256TG or 1257TG for £54ish instead of £70-80 for the Futaba!

I turn the servo speed rate down on my steering on my 2wd & 4wd 1/10th using Savox/Ace (around 0.8 sec speed)
Not sure if its the norm for racers to turn down servo speed via transmitter settings but I have
You can find quality servo's Futaba,Savox etc etc with slightly slower speeds but less in cost to buy

Ye the 9550 will be fine in a B4 I always ran one in my 2wd till this year.
There just not as high spec as some servos available now for much less.

I'll second the 9550, I have one in my B4 and it seems fine.

If you are looking for a new servo I like the low profile Savox which I run in my touring car and can be had for about £43. Quicker and more power than the 9550 but not quite as much as the standard size Savox.
