X12 sensor problems

Hi all,

I bought an LRP X12 from the states and it doesn't work from new

runs at about 1/2 speed at full throttle and causes all sorts of glitchy interference.

Hardly worth sending it back to the states for warranty. Is it worth trying a new sensor in it? Anyone else had similar problems?

Have emailed JESpares about getting a new sensor.
