Default Team Orion 10.5 Dead

In my touring car i have an orion 10.5 brushless with a lrp tc spec speedo. Tonight my motor took a direct hit at high pace and the car came to a stop. In the pits the speedo is flashing red and yellow which i believe is a jammed motor but this is not the case. It still turns fine. I have tried it with another sensor wire, taken it apart and nothing seems wrong but it is definately dead.

Is it a case of bin it or are these things repairable?

thanks, john

If its based on the same setup as the 5.5 / 6.5 orion motors try swapping the sensor module of a known working unit. If you cant swop sensor module eiher send the motor back or resolder all the connections on the sensor pcb.

If you do resolder make sure you use a suitable sized tip on the iron and know how to solder surface mount pcb's without destroying them.
