NO!!!! NEVER OVERTIGHTEN THE DIFF BOLT!!! It will wreck your plates, balls and screw!

Proceedure is;

1) assemble until the diff spins as a diff between finger and thumb, loose as possible
2) lock the outdrives together (I use an old pair of thin blade scissors but anything with two appropriate prongs (even 2 screwdrivers cable tied together!) will do
3)holding the outdrives still can you turn the crown wheel
a) if you can then tighten the diff SLIGHTLY, recheck
b) if not then build into the car, making sure you shim it porperly of course!
4)run the car around gently for a couple of minutes, avoid heavy throttle.
5) hold one wheel, spin up the other with the motor for a couple of seconds .. repeat with other side

6) holding both rear tires still punch the throttle, if diff slips tighten SLIGHTLY, repeat until it doesn't

Job done
