Default Weight add to the RB5 SP2

Hi Guys,

What weiught do i need to added to the car?
I know it will need some up front was looking at the GHea racing stuff but seemed bit priccy is i can get away with running normal weight upfront

Th car is kit built -
With goodies inside
Ko Prop Low Profiel Servo, LRP SPX Speedo, KO 408S, LRP 5300 lipo, X12 8.5t motor

Was thinking of adding 60g behind the servo??

Also i got AC rear carbon shock tower for the RB5 it will fit the SP2 wont it?

I run the Ghea brass bulkhead (35g i think) plus 20g on the servo... seems spot on for me.. Some tracks may need a little more adding.. bumpy ground or big jumps etc will help..

Is your atomic carbon tower the " low " one as your sp2 one with the extra holes?

Cheers

Nick

Front AC towers are all the same IIRC, rear ones come in two heights as Nick says .. you need the shorter one.

As for weight I run 120g under the LiPo and approx 30g inside the front bulkhead (metled lead).

I know Nick is happy with a lighter car and on the FS it works fine for me too (although I chose to run this season with what I know .. NiMh weight car) I am not so happy with the RB5 light, different strokes for different folks I guess. Going to try the RB5 again with no extra under the Lipo again over the winter but have a feeling it will be lardy again enxt year (heavier than the FS with all the wieght in!!!)

Hi Nick,

Thanks for the info on the weight.

It be just for Bury & Worksop indoors, dont think i be playing outside tbh

The AC rear shock tower I'm not to sure. It was going cheap so i got it brand new oh well never mind might come handy one day
I'm guessing it is long one cause AC dont say long or short on the website
