Hi all,

As the title says, what have you?

It's a Kyosho Buggy, replaced the Triumph. A quick internet search will throw up plenty if information and pictures.

Jim
Many of the spares are still available to special order from Kyosho. The part numbers start with XR and the full list of parts are here http://www.tamiyaparts.co.uk/tamiyaparts/tpx/kyosho.htm Compare the prices with Benracing though, they are usually cheaper.

If you need a manual for part numbers have a look here

No chance, it didn't see the light of day until 1994.

Have you had a blow out on the gear bix as it kindof couldnt handle the power. Still a nice looking car, pity none of the team kyosho guys liked it.

You also have a few Pro X collectors on the Tamiya website so worth trying them to.

It looks great, but rubbish.

When I was at Aire Valley Bob Gammon finished the event and threw it into a huge puddle (well it was a very deep one anyway) and said it was the worst 2wd he had ever driven and said that he was dropping the Kyosho 2wd.

He went to the worlds driving for Associated. It didnt work unfortunately and its achilies heel was the gear box but it also didnt handle.

When I said 'nice thing' I meant in a sort of vintage stylie

It looks a little over engineered in places (it would be hard to snap a front wishbone), but never really looked at the gearbox tbh.

I agree with you on the over engineering in some areas but they also lacked in others. I like the look and even offered good money for Robs proto but he decided to chuck it instead, pity thou, as I wouldnt have run it and would have looked good alongside my two ZXS prototypes.
