Default Clanfield rc club

Please forgive me for throwing my dummy out the pram

Clanfield out doors off road circuit is quite near to me so I thought give them a ring and see if I could practice may be learn a thing or two on their track on a day that they allow for this, only to find that (I wont name him) this bloke was very rude, all he did was brag about his buggie being worth £1500 and dont allow any other types appart from 1/8 nitro and electric buggies on the track also has the cheek to charge not only £35 for a season but £7.50 every time you practice ect..., rip off , I was very excited at first that I had an off road track near me to learn on with my stadium truck now Im looking alse where, after the way he spoke to me and the cost of things he can stick it, some may say that clanfield is great and im sure it is and the people there are great too, but hes put me off.
Wonder why theres not that much interest in this sport any more.

I feel better for getting that off my chest

Yeah I can vouch... you will be made very welcome... Im sure you caught Tony on a off day. He wouldn't make someone feel unwelcome to come along and try out. Im sure, him saying the price's and how much everything costs was nothing remotely showing off or the like.. Just letting you know, its not a cheap hobby.. unfortunately. As you said, come along on the 18th.. and I might be there sounds like John is. But you will be made very welcome.. can assure you!
Its always good to see new faces down the track!
