Default Pinion RB5

Which pinion do you use with a stock RB5 and a LRP/ Nosram Brushless 6.5T ?
small pinions like 18 don t even fit

i run a 17 on mine with the kit spur, but i can't go any lower than that.

17-18 should be about right with the 6.5

which pinions do you use ?
are there smaller and bigger ones with 18 (48p for sure)? i will try tamiya pinions the next week

thx .. i got it .. my titan chassis screws were a mm too long so the motor couldn t come close enough to the spur !
i got my 18t in

17 and 18 are the main ones i use on the 6.5. i would probably go up to a 20 running brushed 10t.

don't use tamiya pinions on it, they are usually not 48dp, but some wierd 0.6 module or something. it's very close but not quite 48dp, so tha car will run noisy and wear the spur.

the tamyia ones are for the 501x .. if they don t fit perfectly i will not use them ... thx for the tipp
hope they will fit i have enough modul 0.6 pinions that nobody needs
