Normally I read it as from the bottom of the shock, to the start of the ball joint, the visible part of the shock shaft in other words.

Unless it's quite a big figure given, then it could be from top to bottom of the whole thing.

I'll let the Team drivers have the final say, but I believe the shock length is fully extended center of eyelet to center of eyelet

I measure shock length as screw-to-screw.

I'm 99.9% sure that my Ellis setup sheet gives lengths that are the middle of the eyelets. When I measured the extended length of my Associated shocks (with no internal spacers) they came out pretty much spot on.

http://www.xfactoryrc.com/rc/pdfs/Se...-2009-X6Sq.pdf

will be trying schumacher bigbores shocks this weekend at the oople race, this is the first time ive run the x6 also, have a set of associated shocks to try back to back, could be a steep learning curve

Hi Guys,

I didnt want to open a new topic for my question.

Does somebody use TRF shocks on his X6sq? I know, Hupo in the past used them,, but its far away.
So if you have experiences with them on your X6, let me know.

thanx.

Peter

Hi,

I recieved my TRF Shocks yesterday. I'll compare them with the actual Associated Shocks.

Losi Shock are unfortunately rare but I still be interested to get them. Could someone please give me the part-number from these losi-shocks (XXX-CR)???

Thx...(sorry for my bad english)

Daniel,

You cannot currently buy Losi shocks as a complete set, you have to buy all the individual packets seperatly that make a set of shocks up (threaded bodies, shock shafts, shock cups/bottoms, pistons, springs, eyelet balls and shock cartridges - all sold individually sadly which is why they alwasy work out so expensive...)

Yep...way too long (yet Losi DO offer these and the Losi Eight and ALL micros and the 1/8th LST and their touring car ones and pretty much ALL of their other shocks as complete units, juts NOT the 1/10th off road shocks )
