does a novak xxl receiver work with a ko propo Ex-1marsR 3-ch transmitter, and do ko propo crystals work in it aswell.

In my experience yes, I used exactly that combo before moving to 2.4

KO Crystals
XXL Receiver

Cannot guarantee the R, but we didnt notice a difference in response on 40mhz
