Default I know the future of RC racing!

It's in Short Course trucks on 1/8th rallycross tracks!

It's ACE!

I went to the RRCi Short Course Shootout @ Coventry MCC at the weekend and its the most fun I've had racing in the 5 or 6years I've been racing. Everyone was having a laugh, rubbing is allowed , only saw 1 breakage all day (no it wasn't me!) and best of all I only heard 'MARSHAL' being shouted once or twice all day! not a few times every race.

Also longer finals are the way forward!

Those trucks are made for dirt so if it's a dirt track you're talking about the you're bang on. Someone was driving one at the new 8th dirt track near Wakefield (mmrx) yesterday. I could imagine a heat of them on a track like that being great.

Yeah it was on their dirt track.

Sc's are the solution to the noisey 1/8th clubs which are getting shut!

If Schumacher were to mould a minispike for the SC trucks this class could really take off in the UK... however with dirt tyres only it's only going to be a novelty class.

I don't care for the contact myself, but they are very robust and look good on the track.

It's that magic Yellow (or Blue) compound that makes the difference... works indoors and out, the perfect UK tyre!

I've seen the Fastrax tyre and am planning on giving it a go on astro. I don't think it'll work on polished wood too well but I try anyway!

I say we just take over 8th Rally cross dirt tracks, much more fun Its not all about speed then, as you need a very steady throttle finger to put any power down

sorry that was just me falling off my chair at Ant using the term 'steady throttle finger' .

By steady, do you mean 'bending because it is rammed open?

Sc's were awesome thought, hardly any breakages too!
