Default glue/sticking graphite to graphite

whats the best thing to glue graphite to graphite, chipped a corner off the rear of my xx4 chassis where the screw for the rear bumper goes and need to put it back together. tried superglue/tyre glue but no good, has anyone got any wonder stuff they can recommend??

epoxy resin probably as close to the orignal adhesive as you can get. Should do the job if not load bearing.

epoxy. (thats what cf is made from) Go spend some money and get the good stuff, it will have too much to possibly use, unless your making a boat, but it holds and bonds alot better than the hardware store stuff. lather it on, let it dry, and then sand it down. dont use a dremel, it will catch on fire.

from experience, no matter what you do, the corner will pop back off with a small knock, unless you can create a butt strap on the back, to bridge the two seperated parts. Expoxy will work, but make sure the ares is fully degreased first for most adhesion.

What I do is spary activator on one part and a liberal amount of super glue on the other. Dress the excess across the seam and activate off.

I've done three chassis there in the past 4 years.
Nothing will stick it properly, the best you can do is use shock shafts instead of pivot pins and a nut to hold the pin brace on.
