Can you replace the aerial wire on a futaba 2.4ghz reciever as mine has broke after the aerial came out and then rolling the car on its roof.Does it need special wire and length,Any help would be handy as my car sometimes goes crazy on the furthest point from the rostrom

you can replace it yes.

have a search on ebay for futaba 2.4ghz aerial - it's a micro co-ax fitment, so you will need to be careful when installing it.

I have used the 2.4ghz FAAST antennae on my KO 2.4ghz when that aerial wire broke. It's an easy repair, but you need to be carefule getting into the receiver and taking the old aerial off - for a small plug, the micro-co ax has a big grip.

Yes it is easy to replace, you can buy them for about £7 from Microtech. Just gently prise the receiver lid off unplug the lead and plug the new one in. Use small long nose pliers to take off the lead and put the new one back on.

Might be a good idea to buy 2 if you can
