I'd go with a speedo, some form of electric motor, a servo, a receiver and last but not least a battery to power the whole lot

Seriously though speedpassion seems to be popular at the moment for speedos and motors and Vampire Racing lipos are great.

If you're on a relative budget like I am, get an used LRP Sphere/Nosram Matrix, used Trakpower Dark 5000mah lipo and an LRP/Nosram 7.5T motor.

Hope this helps.

Im running the blue xerun (off ebay) looks great and its made by hobbywing who make speedpassion, running with a sp 6.5 v2 motor works great but im told the v3 are very good about £55 posted, all comes from hongkong very quick delivery never had any problems also if your on a tight budget they still sell the v2 on ebay (hk) for £35

Use a spassion pro(one hardly used in sale section £100.."150 new) and a spassion 3.0,7.5..Our X6 has the same and its lightening fast when you need it, smooth as silk and mega adjustable from tame to verry aggressive! they hardly ever go wrong, the fans never break and they are priced below most other same spec speedos/motors, plus sp offer a repair/refurb service cheap if it does ever croak!..We have 5 sp speedos now Im very impressed as you can prob tell..SP all the way

AS everyone else has said, the Speed Passion ESC's are very popular at present and good value for money, as far as LIPO's go the most popular by far are our Vampire Racing 40C ones - the perfect balance between awesome performance and good value and if you are looking for a good value (ie NOT £90/95) brushless motor then somthing like the Trinity NEMESIS or EPIC DUO 2 Platinum series would be ideal (both available for under £70)
